lower(ish) haight. i remember many a
night, trekking over to see this sexy
momma, wondering how i would find my
way. when, like a beacon of hope from
some awe-inspiring biblical tale, that
bright blue light would shine from her
stairwell. rolling in on those blue
beams of hope (it ~is~ possible on a
really good skateboard), i would find
laughter and good times in the company
of this gem of a girl.
we'd always see each other at various
spaces and places... it has, and
always will be, a pleasure! wherever!
whenever! this girl rocks the casbah!
her namesake suggests, and she's the hippest
retiree I know. She likes ice cream, knitting,
welding, dancing in her froggy green jacket,
and generally being a cool, cool cat. Brooke's
the best all-time roommate and one of the
sweetest, most original folks I know.

chick is fearless and has more balls
then most men i know. everytime i turn
my back she's trying her hand at
something new. brooke honey...you're
wearing me out!! she's also my 6am
after parting all night dancing
partner...so fresh and so clean!!

craigslist a couple years ago and
responded to Brooke's ad by saying
she sounded soooo cool, like my
best friend. Turned out she lived 3
blocks away and was best friends
with one of my best friends! And she
really is soooooooo cool funky groovy

shes one of the best people I know.
