several years but never met until one fateful
night at T.T. the Bear's Place. Within five
minutes of being introduced, Maria was
dragging me into the heart of a crowd of rock
fans, where we danced and jived and
consumed gallons of alcohol. We exchanged
email addresses and a week or two later I was
in her living room waiting for her to get ready
for another rock show when she slid into the
room wearing nothing but a towel. And it has
only gotten weirder from there. She is a
voracious reader and never watches movies.
She is a mere whisper of a girl and could easily
be blown away by a stiff wind. She is attracted
to creative geniuses, which is why we never
hooked up.
