About Me:
Me. I'd like to think I'm a unique indvidual, but what I've come to realize is that we are all unique. I like people who appreciate their own uniqueness and can see it in others. I prefer to be in environments where people are actively engaging in their life, whether it be through their work, their hobbies, their family or their individual practices. What I mean is, I take an appreciative attitude toward life. I mean, it's clear that life is precious, and honestly, I want to experience every moment like it is new and engaging. And guess what - every moment is just that way! I feel most satisfied when I feel the synchronicity of life. What is important to me? Being in nature, being in love, feeling my heart, being true to myself, communicating compassionately, respecting myself and others.
Most recently, I've returned to college to finish my degree. At 49 years old, I find that I am much better suited to focusing on my studies than I was at 19 years old. So, 30 years later, I am discovering that I can use my brain to read, analyze, and think - not necessarily in that order! I'm designing my own program in holistic and alternative education, with a focus on Partnership Education. My goal is to contribute to society by helping to raise children who are instilled with courage and compassion, who question what society tells them, who value life.

Who I Want to Meet:
Assuming this is talking about a mate: Someone who is down-to-earth, yet can think out of the box, who takes care of himself physically, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, who is connected to his heart, who practices compassion, who is actively engaged in his creativity, who appreciates art, animals, children, who respects the earth and loves to participate on the planet, who sees the simple beauty, who dances.
Additionally, I'd love to connect with like-minded people both men and women.
