any club that involves dancing, world peace, equal rights, pro-choice - who would have thought I was a damn hippy at heart?; Since moving to LA, I haven't exactly been quite the joiner yet - still feeling the place out, but I have started taking dance classes at the Edge. I should be a member of Overeaters Anonymous, Pop Culture Junkies, and Bacon Lovers from Canada.

dancing (ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern), reading, traveling, music, art, learning languages or just learning in general, food (especially if it's spicy, and I'm definitely a carnivore)

Russian literature - anything by Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Nabokov (highly recommend Lolita), David James Duncan (the Brothers K, the River Why), Henry Miller, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Middlesex, White Teeth, Kundera, Rushdie, many more

I love movies! I will watch just about anything - classics, indies, foreign, cheesy comedies, adventure/action, sci-fi, drama. And, I love horror films, too, although they're rarely very good. Some favs are classic 80's flicks and weird and bizarre stuff that either really makes you think or causes visceral reactions - a la Kubrick or David Lynch. Other picks: Lost in Translation, Donnie Darko, Wedding Crashers, The English Patient, West Side Story, Dirty Dancing, High Fidelity, Goodbye Lenin, Amelie, Gone with the Wind, The Thomas Crown Affair, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Splendor in the Grass, Thank You For Smoking

I like almost anything, as long as there's no yodeling - Massive Attack, Sade, Radiohead, Tribe, Outkast, Fiona Apple, Erykah Badu, Bjork, Portishead, The Roots, Coldplay, Bloc Party, Beck, D'Angelo, Aretha, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Ben Harper, The Cure, Blondie, Janet Jackson, old-school MJ, Jay-Z, J5, Ozomatli, De La Soul, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Black Eyed Peas, Mos Def, Snoop, 2Pac, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Buckley, U2, Miles Davis, classical(Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Beethoven)

As long as it's entertaining, it's captivating enough for me. Nip/Tuck is the the greatest show on TV, but I also like Lost and Grey's Anatomy. I currently have cable, so I've been watching Weeds, Entourage, and Dexter. As far as comedy goes, Adult Swim, baby!! Will definitely check out 30 Rock. And, of course, I love the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

I'm the kind of person that loves going out and traveling and seeing the world, but I can also be a homebody that can fritter away hours watching senseless television. Hey, it's TV - if there was a point to it, that would make it so much less enjoyable. I don't like to bullshit, so you will rarely catch me kissing anyone's ass or making superficial remarks. As you can tell, I can be very crass, and at times, quite blunt, but I'm working on it. I've got a crude, sarcastic side and love to exchange witty banter. I am a total pop culture addict - yes, it's a sickness. I horde a lot of useless random information gleaned from various questionable sources, but I guarantee the veracity of everything I tell you. I am a big-time procrastinator, and unfortunately, I am known as one of those constantly late people. I'm generally a pretty tough bitch, but I'm a wuss when it comes to downing alcohol - I excuse myself based on my Asian genetics. I'm a very open-minded non-judgmental person, so you can pretty much take me anywhere, and I'm not likely to be offended in any way. I also have a pretty curious nature and am quite tolerant to pain - assume whatever you wish about that statement. I'm not big on schmoozing -definitely prefer to talk with people one-on-one. I don't know if that makes me intense or not - I just like being able to really get to know someone rather than simply make an irrelevant impression. My goals in life are: to speak at least 4 languages, travel the world, write a novel, dance in a Janet Jackson video, get married, have an even number of children (yes, I am a middle child), still look young when I'm old (oh, the vanity), be a good and decent person, and of course, live a long, happy life (If I had to choose, I would take happy over long). To those I am close to, I am fiercely devoted. There's so much more I could disclose, but I've got to leave some mystery....

I like fun, outgoing people that are a little on the crazy
side and like to shake their asses to a beat. But, even if you can't dance, above all, I appreciate a good sense of humor. It also helps if you can read and write - illiteracy is no fun, although you could seriously mess with an illiterate person, so I guess, in a way, it is fun after all. Basically, a good conversation with some good laughs goes a long way. It also helps if you're open-minded, honest, and possess both a fun side as well as a serious side.
