born in texas. raised in mississippi. lived in ohio. fled north for school and stayed. completely in love with ithaca, new york and the fabulous community i've found there. i love: kung fu, swimming in the gorges, my friends' kids... i hate: patriarchy, green olives, and long winters. i'm hopelessly addicted to: travelling in latin america, watching buffy with my housemates, and dancing.

lived in antofagasta, chile and had a great, but super-challenging time teaching english at an all-boys public high school...

back in Ithaca but moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina next year to pursue a masters in Peace Studies.
