to only do things I'm passionate about (like eat chocolate
and dance naked in the mirror). Met husband on the Love
Boat in Korea, then we jumped ship. I can do the splits
and speak Spanish (but not at the same time). My dog's
name is Pepe Le Pew, and he likes to eat peanut butter. I
anchor/report the news in San Diego, and I crack the whip
at the San Diego Asian Film Foundation as the executive

this world do you find people who share
your dimented, obscure, inappropriate
behaviors ... but in Lee Ann I have
found my partner. Once I realized she
wasn't Connie Chung, I have been in
love with this woman. Yeah, she's
smart, gorgeous and talented ... but I
celebrate her ability to sing every
80's song on the planet, do Electric

Lee Ann is a pillar in the asian
american community. her
passion...is contagious. her
drive...admirable. her dreams and
generousity...are inspiring. this mas
fina chica throws one hell of a party
in san diego and you get to watch
movies to boot!! so amazing and
genuine. crossing paths with this
one has been nothing but good
times. i will never forget
jaegermeister, sam, lee ann, and me
sitting at the table. hooo dang!!! not
sure how i made it home....but for
some reason i made it home
fast...and woke up on my couch at
5am with a headache wondering
where everybody went;-) crazy good
times!!!
oh yeah...and she's got some nice
gams too!!! hooo dizzle!!!
Like the heart beating from the chest
of the wronged man under the
planks of the wooden floor, my spirit
must finally speak with a resonance
that can no longer be ignored. When
I first met Lee Ann I mistakened her
for a famous Korean pop star
coming to America to bathe in the
freedom of annonimity, away from
her adoring fans of Asia's northern
penninsula. Foolish, foolish me for
making such naive rush to judgment!
I slap myself 8 times for assuming
her perfectly symmetrical face,
tightly-pored facial skin of a newborn
baby, her .01% body fat, her
incredible mid belly section that
Britney Spears demands her plastic
surgeon try to achieve, her many
feminine bumps and curves that
would put a smile on any Formula
One race car, could possibly indicate
that her sole purpose on eart would
be to grace the cover of Korean
Rolling Stones and Vanity Fairs,
appear on Asian MTV Video
displaying her natural gift of sexual
hypnosis from Television to viewer,
and to provide a benchmark for all
women to base their insecurity. Bad,
bad Roger! How could I be so utterly
idiotic! But I can not be too hard on
myself because society injects us
with these values that we internalize
as truth. I am but a little creature of
God who mistakend her sheer
physical beauty as an indicator that
should could not possess a beautiful
personality. Bad, bad Roger! Bad! I
so bad like the Michael Jackson! So
smart, hot, sexy, beautiful, and nice
Lee Ann was, provided almost fatal
to me and my real of possiblities.
So, I took immediate refuge at
temple in Yedo, Japan where I
meditated on this devine incounter.
This is what my 101 days of deep
breathing in Nippon revealed: Lee
Ann is an Angle on rumspringa (the
Devine equivalent of the Amish
ritual). Some days she'll strap on her
low body fat wings and fly
away...leaving us heterosexual men
alone so that we can reacquaint
ourselves with the reality we once
knew. For now, all 2 billion of us
must suffer in awe of the fact that
there is truly only one perfect woman.
I must now return to Yedo, Japan to
further meditate on this Ode to Lee
Ann.

spotted even within a big crowd of
protestors. She has spunk, and enough
energy that war crying ralliers did not
detract my attention from her, and it
aint just cause I look at beautiful
women too much and dont report enough.
Most of all, I am indebted to all her
kindness, and inspired by her amazing
will in the Asian American community.
now. She's a very generous person with
a great big heart. She reaches out to
those who want to learn and touches
people's lives in soooo many ways.
She truly knows how to work hard and
play hard...I don't know anyone else
with such energy and passion. She
might not know this but she has always
been a role model to me...someone I
look up to in many ways. I'm thankful
to know such a wonderful person.
