West Wing, Sopranos, Six Feet Under

I've been married nearly nine years. We have a 5-year old boy and 2-year old girl. Lately, I've been contracting at Expedia and now Microsoft, but really aspire to starting a new business. Remodeling our 1926 Wallingford home is the thing I do in my few spare moments.

I enjoy learning and building things (software systems,
houses, whatever). Someday I'd like to start a small
company with like-minded souls, probably in the software
industry. I'm also interested in living (temporarily) on
the East Coast and overseas.

As a former programmer, I'm atypically extroverted, but can
be just as geeky. Though I aspire to live the lessons of
yoga and other eastern influences, I'm still struggling to
fit them onto my western urban life.

As my life, career and family have evolved, I've found
myself with few close friends with common interests. So, I
am interested in meeting others for activities or
professional networking. I'm particularly interested in other bright people who have a business concept, but need a partner to lead/execute the software development end.
