What I enjoy doing:
going to baseball games, crossword puzzles, baking, hanging out in coffee shops, coin collecting, mystery hunts
-
Favorite Books:
Confederacy of Dunces, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harry Potter, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Catch 22, anything by Vonnegut (almost), The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Godel, Escher, Bach
-
Favorite Movies:
Empire of the Sun, Color Purple, Defending Your life, The Ice Storm, and about a billion others I have on tape (well, 250) but now we are slowly moving to DVD
-
Favorite Music:
Moxy Fruvous, Coldplay, Postal Service, Enimem, and pretty much everything except for modern country music (because old country and bluegrass is quite good) and bad hip hop (there is good hip hop, but you find very little of it on 94.5)
-
Favorite TV Shows:
I've now become addicted to TV on DVD: 24, Arrested Development, The O.C., Buffy, Angel, (trying Charmed to fill in the Buffy gap), Roswell, Simpsons, Family Guy, Old School Star Trek, Brady Bunch and other campy things
-
About Me:
I'm just a fun short guy who likes to hang with his friends at home or out around Davis Square. I used to live in Diesel but now that my roommates have a little baby and I work in the 'burbs, I hang out at home more. I am capable of babysitting as long as it doesn't require changing a diaper that is more than wet. I unfortunately am a massive AIM junkie (SproutCM) as most of my friends know. I work very hard to write interesting away messages to keep them apprised of my every move, and to keep them laughing.
-
Who I Want to Meet:
I am just looking for a great guy who loves to ramble and
talk about intellectual things, is genuine and nice, who isn't hung
up on lots of shallow things, and likes to cuddle more than anything.
People who like to go out for nice meals, watch lots of movies,
go to Red Sox games, and wander around the city are hard to find.
Also, apparently honesty and openness went out with the 90's, so that would be nice to find too.

gossip with in the wee hours at puzzle
conventions. He is always cheerful and
helpful when we seek his advice on
chemistry questions at my mysterious
job.
know. I love the photo of him in Ptown
with the Sunday Times crossword (which
he does in pen, I might add!) I thought
i was a cinemaphile before I met Chris
who has an encyclopedic knowledge of
the silver screen that is awesome to
behold. My one regret in this hectic
21st century live that I don't get to
see this sweet, cute, funny guy more
often.
twice the puzzle solver. That gives
him a puzzle solving density more than
FOUR TIMES mine. You may think that's
nerdy, but remember, he's a chemistry
professor.
General Chemistry at Haverford! He is
the reason people say "good things come
in small packages". Awesome guy with a
big heart for anyone. But chris, dont
play Yenta anymore :)
PhD, would require more space and time
than I am here afforded. However, in
an attempt to give the Henry James'
version, I will say that the first
words that come to mind when thinking
about Chris are uncompromising
integrity. Being one of the most
brilliant people I have ever met, Chris
has enough life experience to offer
excellent advice on pretty much any
subject. He takes the MWU definition
of 'friend' to a whole new level.
Working with him and being his friend
have been amazing-I learned more about
my life sitting with him over coffee at
Diesel than in all of my earlier life.
He is the kind of person I wake up
every morning being thankful for
knowing.
Frighteningly good at chemistry and
puzzles and trivia and such, but also
disarmingly friendly and unassuming.
Plus he looks stunning in a dress each
Halloween.
trivia buddy, always ready to entertain
me when I'm bored, back massages, loves
coffee, and did I mention the Red Sox
season tickets? Also wins the "most
likely to be mistaken for one of his
students" award.
interesting Harry Potter fan you'll
ever meet. He's also a 100% dependable
friend, always there to talk if you
need him. Did I mention he's super
cute? Yeah, he's adorable, and insanely
smart too. I love you Chris!
