mirrored by the fact that the man is
blind in one eye. Truly one of the
more bombastic sportcasters working in
the industry today, Vitale's delivery
is like nails on a chalkboard. From
the looks of that photo it appears that
he is trying to emulate one Howard
Cosell. May I be so bold as to say
that Dick Vitale couldn't carry my
microphone, much less fill the yellow
blazer.

reason to watch a broadcast on ESPN. I
love this guy because of his enthusiasm
for the game and his love for the
players and coaches. He may love Duke
a little too much (Chris Duhon = Derek
Jeter?), but Dickie V is as
entertaining as they come. It's a
shame CBS has to broadcast the games in
the NCAA tournament. All those CBS
commentators can kiss my a$$. Anyways
Dickie V, keep it real. It's going to
suck not hearing you broadcast any
games until November, but mark my
words: Georgia Tech will win the
National Championship next year
