red convertible out of fucking
nowhere, you didn't even know he was
in town, and he whisks you away to
somewhere and you spend the whole day
hangin' out. It hasn't happened in a
while, but i'm waiting for ya Ben!
cognitive depth to prove it. i'm happy
to say that the seemingly
planned "accidents" that have let me
spend more time talking with this man
were truly accidents, and that it
somehow makes the time spend more
valuable in my mind. i'm also hoping
that one day he'll teach me the trick
of keeping up that level of
intellectual associativity while
keeping at least an outward appearance
of sanity :) three cheers for 3bob!
Point Lobos in SF, but he doesn't know
that I saw him.
innocence of the creatures is in
inverse proportion to the immorality
of the Master.
like the old NSFNET-RELAY that would
connect JANET and NSFNET back in the
day, I'm talking *waaay* back in 1989.
Everytime I scope out a UK friendster
profile for some stalking, it turns out
to be via Ben! Ben is the router....
with Ben. You immediately shift in to
the mode of "stop and smell the
rose...", no wait, more like "stop and
observe the fabric of the universe."
It's amazing how someone so on the go
can also be so of the moment as well.
There's a tendency to speak of Ben in
terms of hyperbole, and for good reason.
He is a magical being from another
dimension who can suddenly appear
anywhere around the globe. His
intellectual powers cannot be quantified
on any traditional scale. These are
facts that the most casual observer
would have to agree are true, even if it
is beyond their comprehension. On a
personal level, I'd like to note that
Ben is easily understood... as a kind
and gentle soul.
front door. he's that kind of person.
talking with ben reminds me of late
night conversations when i was a child
with my uncle who introduced me to the
possibility ours being a snowglobe of a
universe, sitting on someone's coffee
table. ben makes me wonder about life!
