catherine, my first true college
friend. we were inseparable... we used
to eat, drink, sleep, play, even fail
math classes together. those were the
days. but now? i hardly ever see or
talk to the bitch. i guess that's what
happens, even to the bestest of
friends, when they live 6764 miles
apart (true statistic btw). what do i
miss most about catherine? her
feistiness, her nurturing instinct, her
corny sense of humor, her gourmet
ramen, her athleticism (HA!). and oh
yeah, being able to borrow her clothes.
contrary to her former gangsta bitch
front now miss elegance in armani
suits, catherine is actually an ajoomma
at heart cooking kongnamool bop for
everyone and cleaning the bathroom with
the infamous towel around her head in
naebok and ponds cold cream on her
face. catherines always been there for
her friends and knows what to say to
console an aching heart. whoever grabs
her off the shelf is one lucky man!
catherine and i were known as the
wonder twins when we roamed the streets
of seoul together in the wee hours of
the morning. ahhhh memories...
I can't say enough good things about
Catherine... She is kind, caring and
very sensitive. I remember when we
were watching "Powder" once over at my
apartment back in our younger days.
There was a part in the movie when
Powder started attending high school.
There was a scene where Powder was
eating lunch by himself after which
Catherine started bawling. I guess it
brought her back to her days in high
school. Did I mention that she was
gullible? I managed to convince her
one day that my feet smelled like
strawberries (they smelled like ass
and they still do). After 2 minutes
of trying to convince her, she bent
over, took a whiff, and she reeled
backwards, like she had been punched
in the nose, almost giving her
whiplash and causing her to fall out
of her chair. One of my
favorite "Catherine" moments.
u never told me u were into 'bicycle
distribution'? sup, we going to hit or
what??
