Im Marian Rivera Gracia, was born on August 12, 1984. I was born in Madrid Spain. My father is a spaniard named Francisco Javier Garcia. My mother is a filipina named Amalia Rivera. When I was 2 years old, my mom and dad separated, I was sent to the Philippines in Bacoor, Cavite with my lola. My mom stayed in spain to work as an OFW. Then my career began as a ramp and commercial model. I started advertising Skin White Lotion and Sky Flakes Crackers, the i entered TAPE Inc, and then i was signed to be a member of the cast in a series of afternoon soap operas for GMA Network: Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat and Pinakamamahal. Oyo Boy Sotto was my leading man in these soaps. Then GMA Network casts me into mother roles for the afternoon Philippine-Malaysian drama Muli and the primetime telefantasya Super Twins. My fame began when I won the audition for the title role of MARIMAR, the the directors and screen testers gave me an 80% chance of winning than the other actresses who auditioned, MARIMAR began in August 13,2007 with Ding Dong Dantes as Sergio Santibanez, which proved to be a huge succsess with a rating of 38.3% which made MARIMAR no.1 in the Philippines!!! I also entered the music industry with the release of a dance album: Marian Rivera dance hits!
