Indispensable at birthday parties, bar
mitzvahs, or just a day at the beach,
John Krokidas is way fun. He never lets
his deep hipness get in the way of a
good time, and he understands that
famous people can also be tiresome,
an excellent quality in and of itself.
Kroki's Friendster page because I wrote
it while drunk and misspelled 90% of it.
Kroki deserves better.
If one was to describe Kroki in one
word, that word would be: Trouble.
In many words: It's the kind of trouble
you get into on a hot summer day with
your best friends and you're about eight
years old. It's the kind of trouble
that leads to karaoke and sake and thai
food in Salem on New Year's Eve. While
others think living on the edge means
being dark and moody, Kroki is the
bleeding edge of fun. He's a bodhavista
in vintage tees and for now on, when he
visits L.A., he must call me.
challenging, and creative person in nyc fool

cozy and safe as that fort you built out of
sofa pillows under the dining room table as
a kid.

gods, right next to Laurel Canyon),
his mother went to bathe him in the
sacred stream that conveyeth
immortality. She held him by his
weiner (apparently of god-like
proportions) not realizing that by
doing so he would be, like us,
mortal. But the Gods took pity and
granted John "magic". Do not stare
into his eyes too long or you will be
under his power.
the Babtist'. And I still regret not
getting a piece of that ass when I had
the chance! Ah well, Se la vie.
