      • It's funny that even though I see
Suresh only about once a year we seem
to be wearing the same color and same
shoes when we do meet up. (I think
Suresh secretly wants to be like me)
just kidding love ya Suresh! Homies
        per vita!

      • this 'testes'monial 4 suresh could
technically start on a snow capped
mountain where our jump instructor ate
it (the end), or livebait 'Cabana'
tuesdays in longbeach, or how he was
this random cuzin of one of my closest
        girlfriends who didn't look filipino
but.... yeah. um. but i think it be
best 2 start in the dynasty of my life
where i got to come into extreme close-
up with this man: sanfrancisco. fall
1999. "the LAB" where he was an
        extension of borrowed futons and
        indian tapestries. where he brought
        albertson's rotisserie chicken home
for dinner. where he got creative
trying to get my son to eat or even
build a lemonade stand. he had
the 'emergency' key to the place, used
it whenever he damn well pleased.
where storyville was the joint. where
he supported my spokenword sh!t all
the time. came with me to listen to
live jazz (bobby hutcherson foo!) i
        was the 'vibes' he was
the 'mellowphone'. where he would be
king at lightshows(hmm mmm). where he
worked at research laboratory all day
and took the 8-hour mundaneness out on
me immediately afterwards. where 6 hr
drives down south were filled with
raregrooves and the wake up show
        (remember freakin out to
        razel's 'at..the...same..time'
joint?). where half of my friends were
        once his friends. where he
        singlehandedly planned my going away
party....at a gay club (good one. jk.
it was fun) YUP. this was an era weird
in it's remembrance, because he and
i...were like "he's not my boyfriend,
        we're uh like brother/sister/'ew don't
touch me' status. i think i
        experienced his gemini-ness at it's
nexus. which has been an experience,
til this day, makes me...feel alittle
bit gaseous. a little bit loved. a lit
bit paranoid. a lot bit grateful. a
        little bit punk'd.

      • one time, suresh re-did a song that
had a line like this, "i'm funky
fresh / i got style and finesse / from
the north to the south to the east to
the west." he changed it to, "my
        name's suresh / i got style and
finesse / from the north to the south
to the east to the west." and then he
did a remix of guantanemera. that was
some futuristic shit. way before its
        time.

      • When Suresh returned from Poland, he
delivered me a 60 lb gift sack. The contents?
        "Authentic-Polish-Sausage," he said smugly.
"Uh... thank you...for...this. But I didn't ask for
any-" "SHUDDUP N' EAT THEM OR DIE YOU
YANKEE PIG!!!" he snapped. So I fried them up
with 347 eggs and shit-ton of rice, and by
        golly, sure enough... those mutherfuckers
tasted better than the Polish Sausages here.
They were more "Polish"... if you will. I didn't
think that was possible. Go figure. God Bless
you Suresh Rodil. -Warren Fu P.S. -Polish
        Sausage

      • Dr. Rodil, hmmm... I met you through my
best friend liberty and little did I
know that you would be one of my good
friends. We've been friends for 3 years
i think? and still we've kept in touch.
And I know for a fact that none of us
changed at all. Your still the same,
        sarcastic, mean, just joking, nice
caring friend. well never stop keeping
in touch cause, your my only friend
thats going to become a doctor. hehe.
well don't ever forget about me or our
        friendship.

        he has blackmail...hahaa...suresh is
sweet and giving...always down to go
out and party but still finds time to
study...i admire how he is with his
friends and count myself lucky that i
had the opportunity to get to know
        him...and ladies, what a catch...hot
AND smart...soon to be a doctor no

      • I vividly remember the first time Blen
introduced me to Suresh...it was back
in highschool and he was busy watchin
tv or playing video game or something
and he compeletely ignored me.. well
not ignore me but i got more
of "eh"!!! heehee yes Suresh.. you may
        not remember this poignant turning
point in our friendship but I
do...heehee...f ast forward a few years
and that sour taste that Suresh left on
my palette has left my mouth and I do
believe he is one fabu fella and a fabu
friend ;-). My on-line IM chat
buddy ... glad to see your back home
and no longer suffering the cold drab
        weather in Poland. P.S. Sometimes
when making a life changing decision it
is all about a leap of faith... and
where you land may by far be a more
better and beautiful place than you
        ever expected !
