Amy |

When we were kids, we would make fun
of each other constantly, dwelling on
one or two quirks that were cause for
ridicule. For Amy, it was her
cheerleading. She was the first
person in my family to join a squad,
so we called her "Rah." Amy was also
very sensitive, and we called
her "Waterworks." When our parents
would fight, Waterworks would cry. If
she failed a test, she'd cry. As
we've gotten older and closer, though,
I've grown to love and admire
Waterworks' sensitivity. In fact,
it's one of my favorite things about
her. I just wish she would stop
cheerleading.
me tell you, she's the greatest. she
always has a smile on her face and a
kind word to say. of course, like all
of us, she has her bad days. like,
for example, mondays, which amy has
always hated. but who doesn't?
sundays are no good, since that means
the end of the weekend and the coming
of monday. but other than that she's
always happy. except, she's usually
pretty tired and cranky on wednesdays
and thursdays (right in the middle of
the week - who can blame her?). oh,
and saturdays are usually no good
(hungover and, sometimes, extrememly
crabby). but i'm telling you, catch
amy on one of her good days, and you
couldn't wish for a better friend.
this girl is someone you should know!
