About Me:
I am a loyal friend. I always try to be there for my
friends and family. I will go out my way to help those that
I love. I think I am a pretty easy person to get along
with. Sometimes I can be indecisive, which can be annoying
but I am working on it. I love to travel. I'm hoping to go to PR this summer.

worst english class ever...in fact, i
remember she shared her textbook with
me one day when i had forgotten to
bring mine to class...we met more
formally through work (a summer or two
after that)...i remember thinking i
knew her from that class, but wondered
if she'd remember too. you see,
shajida has a strong exterior that can
be intimidating if you don't know
her...however, once we started
talking, i instantly knew that we'd be
friends for a long time to come.
we've shared many similar experiences
and our personalities just naturally
click and understand one another.
sadly, shajida and i do not get to
speak or see each other very often,
but when we do, it makes the time all
the more special. we can catch up on
6 months worth of gossip and stories
in a single night and laugh and smile
the entire time...there's no animosity
held by either of us; it's just a
natural, unexplainable understanding
and appreciation for one another.
most importantly, we know that we'll
always be there for each other and
lack of communication sometimes is not
caused by a missing desire by either
of us to keep in touch. shajida has
been an incredibly important and
supportive friend of mine and i admire
her patience to listen to me and her
willingness to give me the bluntest,
most honest advice...even when it's
not the easiest things to hear. she
once relayed a story to me about a
former relationship situation she
had...there's was one thing she told
her bf (at the time) that made a
lasting impression on me: "it costs a
lot to sleep. those words have stuck
with me and have been applied to how i
view myself and my friendships. too
many times we allow people to ruin us
and don't take the initiative quick
enough to cut those ties before it
gets to that point. when stated like
that, it sounds obvious to pick up and
take control of the situation...but
sometimes (when you're wrapped up in
the middle of it all), it takes the
right friend to help you sort though
it all. thus, i truly appreciate
everything about shajida and her
confidence in me...i feel blessed that
she's in my life. shajida defines
what the beauty of friendship is all
about.
