About Me:
I like to listen more than I like to talk. I'm comfortable with just being with someone instead of injecting random conversation for the sake of filling up silence.
I'm a pretty eclectic guy with a lot of different interests to maintain my sense of humour, perspective, and sanity :) I'm a full-time surgical resident and part-time pianist/bassist/wannabe golfer/cook (although not so much nowadays). You're more likely to find me in a coffeeshop or a bookstore than a club or bar. I turn fluorescent red after a mere thimble-full of anything alcoholic. This doesn't always stop me, but it usually comforts spectators to know that I'm not actively dying or having a stroke. I have very little patience for clothes shopping (unless it's a surgical strike or I'm with somebody really special), but I can spend all day in a supermarket (malls generally are okay). I'm a pretty low-maintenance, mellow guy and I can have fun doing pretty much anything (or nothing at all); it's more about who you're with than what you're doing, I think.
I might seem really shy (probably because I am) but I'm actually very friendly when you get to know me. It just takes me a while to open up to people, I guess. People probably see more layers of me the longer they know me, but I suppose that's true for everyone.

Who I Want to Meet:
Honest, genuine, and caring people who value being themselves as opposed to being facades of who they really are. Definitely friendly people who like to smile. After that, people who like (good) music, sports, food and video games get extra bonus points :)
Oh, and girls who wear nice perfume. That's *always* good! ^_^
So I uploaded stuff I've played to putfile.com so you all could laugh at my piano playing, but they're claiming the clips are "inactive" so I can't do that anymore. Just send me a message if you still want to hear them for some reason ... :P

guys I have ever met. He is the type
of friend that is always there for you
whenever you need a shoulder to cry on.
He is a super listener and possesses a
calm, quiet strength about him. And of
course as I fondly refer to him, he
will always be 'Mr. Massachusetts!'
(And he is a really good bass player
too, with great taste in music :) )
intelligent, and fun conversationalist.
one of the few people that i can
genuinely talk to about anything and
everything without fear of weird,
virtual looks. sure it's hard to catch
a glimpse of him cause he's always
studying, but hey, he's dedicated.
just think, good things are worth
waiting for... :)
Some people *pretend* to nice and
friendly. Some people *try*. Anselm
is genuine. He's the real deal. =)
had. He's been my fave buddy to hang
out with ever since we were tiny tots.
It's great being so close in age (2
months). Anslem is very affable (voted
Most Friendly in high school) - easy to
get along with. Plus he's great about
checking out new things and getting me
to see for myself: games, cooking,
skiing, friendster, etc.
And let me take the time now to gush
what a musical prodigy he is. Piano
wizard - met Yoyo Ma. Bonafide jazz
pianist. And now he plays a wicked
bass to go with that. Plenty to make
me jealous.
And my fave cousin is a few years away
from becoming "Doctor Wong". Don't
forget us little people when you make
it big!
happiest people I know. I don't think
I've ever seen him act otherwise.
Granted, I haven't seen him since much
since high school, so maybe the rigors
of med school have made him old and
bitter. :)
