      • Our friendship has surpassed years of the triangle of doom, sharp wit and sarcasm, rivalry, vengeance plots and many Only Miguel and Karleen would think that gift or idea is funny. Clearly one of the people I can honestly say I love with all my heart although we broke my grandmothers heart by never proclaiming our undying love for each other (delusional granny syndrome).
        There are so many things I can say about Miguel...but its easier to just to say to meet him is to fall in love with him.

      • You never know what Miguel is going to send
        you in the mail. It could be some drawings. It
        could be a phototography text. It could be an old
        '90210' fact book. It could be a plastic horse. The
        thing is, whatever it is always comes at the right
        time.

        That, and how can you not love a guy who
        names his plant "Robert"?

      • I have known Miguel since well before he won his
        current acclaim as a designer of product displays
        at Marshalls. My own career has had to be put
        on hold while I assist his biographers in
        assembling a perfectly inaccurate record of his
        life, to be published by Routledge this Fall. But
        when my health was in grave danger due to an
        acute deficiency of flamingo products, Miguel was
        right there for me.

        By psychic remote or astral projection, Miguel
        often makes me laugh out loud when I am
        alone in my room, causing my roommate to think
        that I may be a danger to myself or others.
        Miguel's many letters reassure her.

        Everything cool or beautiful that I have
        discovered, Miguel has already found. He is,
        however, 44 years older than I am, and so
        will inevitably always get everywhere first. The
        only thing I found before he did is Miguel himself,
        because, as Miguel likes to sing loudly and often:
        "I've been to paradise, but I haven't been to me."

        In conclusion: Be to him.
