Things I adore: Watermelon on a warm summer day; hay rides in October; staying in bed on rainy mornings; a quiet outdoor cafe. Poetry in a big arm chair; the silence of Christmas Eve; loons on a lake; randomly meeting friends on the street. Things I despise: playing the game of getting ahead when it gets cut-throat; politics preventing colleagues at work becoming personal friends; wishing my life were the way it was in college; my inability to be open with my closest friends for any stupid reason such as embarressment, fear or inconvenience. People I wish I could forgive: Mr. D and Ms. T for hating me; compulsive liars and the self-absorbed. People I wish could forgive me: the casualties of me getting ahead; potential friends lost due to a misunderstanding. The person I wish I could be: a man more capable of forming strong and deep relationships; a man able to love intimately. The person I realize I am: a fun and enthusiastic positive person who loves people for who they are.

Interesting and dynamic people. Those who laugh and have a good time not by trying, but by enjoying life.
