I don't know whether she knows it, but
g1's been there at some of the defining
points in my life. And always been a
supportive friend. My respect for her
goes beyond her Ultimate captaincy at
Stuy -- she's just so intelligent,
strong, hard working, directed, open,
and.. this sounds boring. I think she
has, on occasion, also drunk me under
the table. But I don't really
remember, because I was passed out.
And that was a long time ago...
julie? who is this sinister girl that
has taken over ghiwon's body? i dont
know who julie is but ghiwon... i can
say a few things about her. i met her
in social studies class back in freshman
year. i guess the fact that we're both
Suh was the reason we started talking.
she was always a sweet girl with such a
radiant personality back then. always
so happy. we chilled when i was up in
boston. more recently, we chilled in
korea. she's a great girl with such
deep emotions lurking behind her soft
spoken brightness. take the time out to
get to know ghiwon and you will know
someone who will always enrich your
life. i know it has for me.
Julie G is one cool girl. She is
caring, giving, and has a great sense
of humor. One more thing: if you ever
play golf with her parents, dont slap
her butt.
I never yearned for a boyfriend growing
up because I had Ghiwon. No, not in
that way..you one-track minders. She
was always there to protect me on the
wild streets of Forest Hills. Hey you
don't know how tough RJs could be. She
used to always walk me home, at night,
because that just how slefless she is
and just how selfish I was (am?). She
is always willing to sacrifice her
comfort for her friends.
When I first "heard" about G1 in Jr.
High, I never thought I would become
friends with her...she was just too
cool for me. But then somehow (I don't
remember how) we became friends and
ended up going to the same H.S.
clinging on to eachother as we made our
first step into that NYC subway system,
and into adulthood. Despite my
cool, "whatever" exterior, G1 knows my
weaknesses and just how lame I really
am inside that head of mine. Yet, she
has always stuck by my side. It
doesn't take constant phone calls or
even e-mails for us to remain close
friends. I'd be gone for like 6 months
without any communication, and when I
come back I am always assured that our
friendship hasn't faded. We've passed
the test of time and distance and I
know that it will continue to do so as
I take off once again.
G1 is the best! But I'm not too sure
about this "Julie" character. G1 and
I go back to days of yore, walking the
halls (and riding the escalators) of
345 Chambers! The woman is caring and
humble, strong and decided, honest and
sweet. She's got her priorities in
order and is loads of fun bc of it!
And best of all, she's always down to
go out and drink like fish! A lush
after my own heart!
Did I mention she throws a mean
sidearm?

met and she's totally fun. Thanks for
the good times in NYC. I was surprised
how well she survived on our rafting
trip being a New Yorker and all. You
are a cool cat.

so generous and so insightful, we are
so lucky to have adopted our lil New
Yorker as one of our own ..come bk and
