About Me:
I grew up in Arizona and was a local surf champ. How did
I do it? I was awesome at shredding the only 2 wave pools
that existed in Arizona during the late 80s. After high
school I was scheduled to go to art school in New York,
but I decided to take my surf contest winnings during the
summer break and head to the North Shore to surf the big
waves like my idol Lance Burkhart. People didn't like my
mainland style in Hawaii and I had a tough time making
friends except for my good buddy Turtle. He taught me how
not to be a Haole, Barney, or a Kook. Later I met up with
a shaper named Chandler who became my guru of soul
surfing. I designed a new logo for his boards and he
molded me into a surfing stud. I also met this girl named
Kiani who helped scrub out my reef rash when I got pitched
riding a huge bowl at Pipeline. Her brothers were part of
the Hui, they didn't like me and wanted to beat me up.
Before the end of the summer I managed to learn to surf
some of the biggest waves in the world and actually beat
Lance Burkhart in the Pipeline Classic surf contest.
Everybody thought I was pretty sweet after that and I was
accepted by the locals as a real surfer even though I came
from Arizona. I left for art school with Kiani, but
returned after one semester because I missed the North
Shore. Now I am a local hero to the Hawaiians. Kiani and
I are still in love and should be having some Haole babies
real soon.

how he would be "ripping" a wave on
his twin fin, but win he pulled out he
was mysteriously standing on a long
board. What's up with that Rickster?
I bet they don't allow long boards in
the wave pool you punk ass.

your first days with Chandler and his
family bra. I still can't believe he
took you in. Heck I can't believe this
is all coming back to me, the good ol'
days on the North Shore of Oahu bra.
Remember that time you used your foot
as a fin when there wasn't one to be
found on that board. At the time you
thought Chandler was teaching you a
lesson for being such a inland kook,
but little did you know he was teaching
you a little bit of the Hawaiian surf
history bra. Or how about that hot
tube experience with Occy bra.
Remember those awful rumors that went
around about Occy and men. I'll always
be saving a pair of my shorts for you
bra.
Turtle. But Rick's pretty cool, too,
for a mainlander. I wish he
would "design my logo" (if you know
what I mean).
