About Me:
I'm from Ohio, and it shows. It took me a long time to call Pepsi soda instead of pop. When I lived in Boston, I was often asked why I was so friendly. (What does that say about Boston?!) College and city life have made me appreciate finer restaurants & foods, independent films, fitness and career opportunities, among other things. But I still love blue collar pot luck parties, carbs, warm homes, genuine hugs and sappy emotional ties.
In love and close relationships, I feel my heart has always been tender. I guess it's both a blessing and a burden, but I have mostly found peace with being so sensitive. I'm grateful that I feel deeply because it allows me to experience great pain and great joy. I'm alive! It also inspires me to love with great passion. (I'm a Scorpio AND Italian .. do I even have a choice?! HaHa.)

Who I Want to Meet:
I love meeting new people! And I'm particularly interested in those who enjoy conversations, dinners & movies, witty observations and thoughtful connections.
Self-assuredness tempered with humility is attractive. Perpetual adolescence (a.k.a. default mode for many gay boys) is not. :-) Also, sexiness is wonderful and has its place, but the attraction of character is more meaningful and lasting.
Finally, I find that honesty and forthrightness are surprisingly rare qualities that cannot be over-rated. Experiencing deeper connections is only possible if you're able to set your fears and pride aside, and be real, open and straightforward.

If I hadn't been forced at gunpoint to
spend time in Ohio a few years ago,
Brian and I wouldn't have run into
eachother at the Columbus airport and
would have continued the usual
Bostonian-on-home-turf, "Yes, I see you
every week, but I still won't approach
you." He's a really great guy with an
increasingly nice bubble butt....
undoubtedly attributable to frequent
steam/gym/sauna/steam/sauna/shower
visits ;-) It's also a good thing he
moved to DC ... I ran out of friends
for him to hook up with ... now if only
he could do the same for me. :) Makes
him sound like a bad bad boy, doesn't
it? ;-
)
