Isabel Roces

I am the eldest of two children of Edgardo Roces and Julie Roces; and grandchild of the late Joaquin “Chino” P. Roces, former publisher of The Manila Times. I attended elementary and high school at Poveda and later graduated from the Philippine School of Interior Design. While I currently do ramp modeling, commercial and print ads, I also run a clothing store with corporate partners named La Copa. Travel is a fringe benefit of my profession that I enjoy the most because it grants me the opportunity to see exotic places, immerse in different cultures, and work with different approaches to a concept. Such benefits have allowed me to venture into Africa, Australia, Croatia, Cambodia, Dubai, and Russia. I get a lot of inspiration from the people I meet and work with and therefore value my interactions with them. On my free time, I enjoy relaxing with music, catching up on my reading, especially the works of Calvino and Robert Greene. I do yoga regularly as a form of exercise. I also have strong beliefs: I observe a strict vegetarian diet and am an advocate for Animal rights.
