cats i know, but what is spoken is

roxboro street overpass on I-85,
probably about 15 years ago. he
extended a warm smile and his
hand, helping me up from my
cardboard box, offered me a set of
clean blankets and a warm meal.
little did i know the blankets were
already on his bed and this "meal"
was in his pants. ten years later i
escaped from his basement
dungeon. i still sometimes have the
urge to scrub floors on my hands
and knees in the nude.
