Josh is the first person who got me
rocking to music I don't know. I
usually don't like tunes of which I
don't know the lyrics. But when Josh
picks up that guitar at Limey's and
plays something I've never even heard
of, I find myself mesmerized by his
musical skill and intellect and
realize that I'm thoroughly enjoying
this song I don't know. And *that* is
what a great musician Josh is. Oh, and
he's rather funny (looking?), too.
of "rise up singing", inscribed with
the date september 30, 1995. and thats
not even as long as i've known him -
but that was probably our first social
gathering on our own terms (for
previous wall-staring engagements, see
my profile). josh is one of the only
people that actually comes to visit me.
which is rad. especially since i have
yet to make it up to his neck of the
woods...he's been a funny man for years
and years and i dig that i can hang out
with him now, without our parents or
other odd remnants of high school. d'ya
think josh had a popsicle before he
took this picture or is his tongue just
that red?? josh korr, you're on my
rockstar list :)

awesome anyway. I'll be up in Boston

cappella-singing, twisted
sister-listening, bob milacki-loving
friend. i think my chances of meeting
another are pretty slim. for me josh
will always be linked to the
pre-millennium college park. the one
without an Ikea or even Smoothie
King. When Planet X was in effect,
pinball was a quarter (long live
Mid-evil Madness, or wahtever it was
called) at Howie's, and Soap's was
there to worship the Lord in grand
majesty. ah, those were the days.
Josh, when he came over to Eric's
house one night and then they played
Weezer in the basement and I was
really cranky and wanted to go to
sleep. The next time we met, however,
we hit it off much more! and since
then, our friendship has been
punctuated with exciting episodes like
accidentally driving into Manhattan
and getting stuck behind a parade
[complete with dragons and drums] in
Chinatown. If only he would just move
to NY and get it over with...
