About Me:
I am a bit lanky, slightly scruffy, a rock n' roll nerd, ambitious but mellow about it, restless but not all the time. I contradict myself. I like to see things I haven't seen and do things I haven't done. I'm a good listener, an agnostic, a scotch & soda drinker, a lazy songwriter.

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone gritty. Someone who welcomes people to the blacksmith shop in a historical village and then criticizes them for asking for the bathroom by saying that there are only outhouses here in the 18th century. Someone who has spent a year canoing through the South, playing the harmonica for food. Someone who builds things. Tom Waits and/or Jim Jarmusch. "Activity partners." Others who have had their hearts broken and/or mended by the Red Sox. Girls who play electric guitars. Anyone who will lend me their chapstick. People with tattoos. Neko Case, again.

arrived grossly drunk- eyes vacant,
wobbling- to the inaugural game (and,
incidentally, finale) of Smashy Finger,
broke a beer bottle and maybe several
fingers, stood against a cement wall
dodging pool balls that were hurled
rapidly at him, and capped off the
night by passing out in a corner. But it
wasn't until he challenged me to a game
of BBall that he proved himself on the
court and endeared his way into my
heart. On the Court he is he King.
is the lost love of my life and his
girlfriend is my long lost twin. then nick
took 5 girls to hooters. he is such a
pimp!
not seeing for several weeks and just
remember how good it is to be friends
with, despite repeated attempts to
"window-shop" for records for two broke
kids who keep not making it anywhere
near the vicinity. how does one really
window-shop for records, anyways (???)
stays away from dairy. Just don't
fuck with his harmonica and he'll let
you live.

afraid you may not be ready for nick.

more often than i do, and he has a lilac
yoga mat. thumbs up for the man.
although I am sure his friends have
heard about the craziness we endure
everyday. I just want to confirm.
Nick is a rockstar record label
staffer and will be missed in the
office by all.
education, I feel that Mick is almost
like a son to me. A son who is
bizarrely 2 years younger than his
father, but a son nonetheless. A great
guy, he'd make any non-Dad proud.
(a poem by Hilary for Nick)
Two roads diverged, and Nick--Nick took
one of them. And that was hot.
