I'm a New Yorker, who's come back to New York.

I miss my friends in California, and I wish they lived here. I realize that it's not where you are, it's who you're with.

My nephew yelled at me to not put milk in my coffee, because I had one of the worst kidney stone attacks I've ever had the other day, and it killed him to see me in that much pain. I wanted to hug him until he passed out, but I knew that he would get mad at me for interrupting his video game.

If I was a chemist, I would try to develop a pill that would allow you to listen to music again, that you couldn't listen to before, because it reminded you of a person that broke your heart. Time doesn't always heal.

I've done almost everything I've ever wanted to do in life, and the rest is not the most important stuff . . . well, maybe it is. There's still so much to do.

Not too long ago, someone told me something that would allow me to retire from my music career tomorrow, yet it made me never want to stop playing.

I get a lot of shit for being the nice guy, and how I need to be the bad boy. I'm not, and I don't want to be. I would rather put a smile on your face, than make you hate me later for the rest of your life.

Lastly, if you ever ask, Yes, I do love you. I always have, I do now, and I always will.
