Kyoko Fukada is a Japanese actress and singer. She has starred in movies and many drama series. Among her works is Friends which co-starred Won Bin.

Her music career started at an early age when she began immersing herself with different kinds of instruments. She became proficient in the piano and flute. When she was thirteen years old, she was persuaded by a family friend to compete in a singing contest. She placed first in the contest and began gaining recognition before she was officially recruited by her talent agency.

She started to appear in some dramas, but nobody really took notice of this precocious teenager. Once she got her role in the JDorama , News no Onna, her name became more famous throughout Japan. Since then, she has gotten numerous movie and film roles, although her music career has been limited thus far.
