Who I Want to Meet:
Possibly Claudia Gonson, although I'd be really disappointed if she turned out to be a jerk. I'd also like to meet Herodotus, but I don't think that even the almighty Friendster could help me out there. Beyond that I'd like to meet anyone interested in some low-key fun like getting a couple of drinks or going to a rock show.

Chris hung out with us (me and family)
in Rome during the Jubilee (I think
that was what it was called). We got
special tourist jubilee bus tokens
which allowed us on the air conditioned
buses, and that was awful nice, and
Chris even knew where we were going,
which was even nicer. One day, the bus
driver was at his stop (in his bus) and
a motorcycle cop felt he wasn't moving
along quickly enough. And the bus
driver leaned out of his window, and
gently clenched and unclenched his hand
like squeezing ripe grapes. The cop
left him alone. It was a great moment
of communication, and I was honored to
share it with Chris.
probably drunk) I wrote a poem for
Chris, which I think just about sums
things up:
and i said it would be socially
unconscious of you/ to offer to serve
me veal/ and you shook your butt,
proclaiming it/ "the last temptation of
christ"
