Russ once saved me from not one, but
TWO RATTLESNAKES! ...and a
tarantula...and umm...a bat (a really
big one)! He's like MacGyver, he
turned a palm frond into a weapon and
led us to safety. Thanks Russ!
Well, the 'nu' photo impressed the eyes outta
my head, Oh, and by the way "Feelin'Alright"
should never be covered NOR heard as
such.. ever. When shall we DJ up a storm
together?
i could always count on Russ to accompany
me to whatever thing I could get comps for.
he was one person who had even more
eclectic tastes than i did. plus we had a
great road trip together before i left for NYC,
and despite 3 flat tires and a snow storm, we
had a grand old time. no matter what side of
his multifacted personality you'll be lucky
enuf to encounter, he's the epitome of
unselfconscious kool...
I cannot stress the importance of R2K.
From Bruford to Fleetwood, from Lee to
Gadd, from Peart to Brown, he can feel
the heat. The best parties EVER are
DJed by this young Bronco. What life
would be like without him I cannot
fathom... Thank you R2K, no one can
stop you now - tonight tonight tonight
you're on the loose.
i feel hell of stupid cuz one time i ran
into russ at amoeba and he caught
me buying a copy of the movie rocky
and my name is rocky so that was
embarrassing but he was kool about
it. it seemz to me that this fella
named roscoe2ooo is always kool
about it. am i right? i was totally
impressed with russ when i heard
what he was spinning at jill's "mom
rock party." and he's in that kool
band "beam." i think pisces are kool
and i happen to know that this boy is
one so that is really great.
During three months of traveling this
summer, Russ' name came up at least
once a day, "if only Russ were here, HE
would know who sang this soft rock
hit." what more do you need to know??
Roscoe is a wonderful and truly unique
human being. In a world ruled by
homogeneity, he is, quite literally,
marching to the beat of a different
drummer. Whether it's smooth samba or
raging metal, he masterfully brings the
beats -- and he always rocks
here>. I've known Russ since the
dreadlock days, and I attest that this
boy can out-'fro me by a longshot. He
drinks caipirinhas. He wears big-ass
eyeglasses. He has a intriguing yet
uncultivated mystique. And I know
that he knows that I know the Little
River Band lyrics. He is a nice dood
and a lovely person to hang with.
this man had the greatest hair and
wrist bands this girl had ever seen.
then he grew out the great hair, but
he's still cool. i think he was a yogi
or a monkey in a past life. or a
pretzel. he introduced me to fastway,
starz and rainbow among other cool
things. oh, and me makes his own
crossword puzzles.

it all boils down to russ. i used to
actively stalk him, like dan said. so
trust me, i fucking know.

seen on guy. He's always quiet around
me, but one of these days, I'll get him
to talk. You watch.
