About Me:
Some people know me as Alex, some people know me as Jen. I love art, music, activism, women, animals, science, history, and the outdoors. I used to live in Boston and I miss it terribly. I can be a goth/hippie/hipster/ androgynous /girlie/'40's style weirdo. I love to dance in all different ways and styles, but sometimes I'm self conscious about it. I love to read. I want to save the environment. I want to travel everywhere, but I hate flying. I like to dance, sing, make things, swim, hike, ski, camp, fish, sled, explore, have intelligent conversation, shop (yes it's true), watch T.V. and movies, play sports, and go to museums, and sooo much more. I'm attracted to androgynous people and other people too. I've been known to jump into things way to fast and I don't want to do that anymore. I am not someone who would want to live forever, but I'm not thrilled about almost being 30 (damn gray hairs). Loving, taking care of, and being taken care of by someone is important to me. I'm always trying to be a better person, and I've been told I'm honest to a fault. I think too much and do too little. I'm a political activist. I don't think gender as binary and support this idea. I don't drink much generally.

Who I Want to Meet:
I feel that my friends should be loyal and keep their friends close. I like to have a small group of close friends. My best friends from growing up and the past few years don't live near me at all so I'm kinda alone right now. I also want to reconnect with old (and childhood) friends.
As for dating/relationships I want to meet a person who keeps me on my toes. Someone smart and sweet. A person who can be totally bad ass and dorky at the same time (or at different times). A total romantic underneath it all, that feels like sometimes love just consumes their whole body and makes everything else seem trivial. A person with eyes that tell their story, but not all of it. Androgyny is nice, and playing with gender/genderfuck. Drunks and/or stoners need not apply.

and she smells like flowers too! She's a
great friend and is always
understanding. She hasn't any scary
claws or anything either! Although she's
a bit of a red, she's so awesome that I
can even excuse her misguided leftist
way. All in all though, she's an awesome
person, and you should all be so lucky
to have a friend like her!
