About Me:
i am in love. with orange juice. odwalla orange juice. when it's good (and the latest run on costco has produced some AAA stuff -- no joke), it's like drinking jesus christ's golden cartoon halo in cool pulpy liquid form.
besides for OJ, i'm also in love with the following (order unclear): slacking, working hard, superlatives, irony, kurt vonnegut, horror movies (especially when seen with a girl who spooks easily -- that feeling of nails digging into your arm timed to coincide precisely with freakyscary stuff happening onscreen mixes to send quite the chemical cocktail pumping through your bloodstream), removing vowels from words -- srsly!

Who I Want to Meet:
people who force me to revise my worldview. (if you have superpowers, i want to meet you for sure times 2!)
i've been on kind of a streak of meeting randoms lately. the only "horror story" i've got (so far -- knock on wood) is the girl who tried with mind-bending earnestness to convince me that an eel was a kind of snake (don't fuck with my 3rd grade bio knowledge -- especially when it's augmented with animal planet!).
all-in-all most people are nice, which is a nice way of saying they're interesting when they're new but they don't really grab me (and probably vice-versa). you know the friends you have where any random thought they share is interesting (and hopefully vice-versa)? i don't know the ingredients or the recipe, but sometimes that just happens, and it kicks ass. i'd like some more of that please!

I have one memory that sticks in my head from the old days. kavin would always have an opinion about everything. EVERYTHING. You would say something mundane that you didnt think was controvertial and kavin would have an opinion about it. But, it doesnt stop there, he would make up these arguments about the subject that had perfect logic to them as if he knew what the subject was the night before the topic even popped in your head and did a full literature search and a 80 pg thesis. Then you would sit there and say
"but . . . errrr . . . doh, your right, damn, mother feckR." I guess that just the way his brain works - fast, efficient and ruethless.
ah good memories
inventive guys I know. I have no doubt
that someday I'll be reading about how
a little start-up run by some newbie
CEO named Kavin is going public. And
when that happens I just hope I have
lots of cash to invest! :)
Kavin, I will write one for you.
I met Kavin in 9th grade English class
with Mrs. Covington. I was moved to
the back of the class because the
teacher mistakenly thought I was the
one who had been kicking paper
footballs during class. So, there I
was, forced to sit in the loser seat,
in the back...But, luckily, a fellow
nerd was in the back sitting next to
me. His name was Kavin Stewart, and,
as it turns out, liked Star Trek almost
as much as me!
We became pretty much inseparable
during highschool. I'd spend most of
my afterschool hours hanging out in his
basement playing video games like Doom
and Quake and WC2...And later in the
night we'd talk on the phone, and Kavin
would complain about girls not liking
him. Good times!
I'd have to say, even though Kavin
doesn't still live in Rochester, he is
still one of my closest friends. We
can pretty much always talk about
anything together...He's actually the
only friend from High School I still
talk to on a fairly frequent basis.
Kavin is also one of the smartest
people I know. He was able to teach
me, in a matter of 2 or 3 days,
everything I needed to pass Course III
math, which I had been getting C-'s and
D's in all year long...With Kavin's
tutoring I was able to pull an 88, only
a couple points shy of Kavin's grade!
HA!
Kavin is probably one of the most
opinionated people I know. During
lunch in High School, him, Dong and
myself would constantly argue about the
dumbest things...We'd start off arguing
about, something like religion, but
would then the debate would degenerate
into "F*ck You!!!!" Again - Good times!
Well, there's a lot I could say about
Kavin, but I'll let his other bazillion
friends post something.

Oh - And Kavin is God...Bow down to
him - Call him JEEBUS!
