time. Mariko kindly pointed out to me
that I had checked off "Looking for men
and women" accidentaly and I promised
to change it eventually. (Actually she
said "I didn't know you were bi."...and
I was just confused.) But anyways, I
met Mariko in Holmdel like...I dunno
when...a while back. What can I say
about her? Very beautiful, very nice,
and very...traveled I guess. She's
been everywhere. She also picks on me
alot...ever since I first met her. I
would tell her to leave me alone and
stop it, but then we'd have nothing
left between us, and then I wouldn't
even be writing this hehe. But there
are too many nice things to write about
that I can't explain it in 1000
characters. I just think that everyone
she knows and cares about should
consider themselves very lucky. That's
all.
summer of '63. Back in 'Nam she was
known to have the foulest mouth this
side of the mekong.... OK Actually i
met her in 02 in washington when we
were interns for the state dept. Since
then ive seen her a grand total of zero
times, but weve managed to stay in
contact through the occasion phone call
and package of contraband wine through
the mail. I consider her a great
friend, one whom i can ask anything and
whom i can expect an honest answer from.
Gentleman: dont let this one go if you
can catch her, but be warned, youve got
your work cut out for you if youre a
plain old american like me.....
meanwhile this girl doesn't even know
that her national anthem has four
verses. Shame on her, but don't worry.
The one verse she does know, she sings
like the best.
Speaking more languages than I own
shoes, this cosmopolitan girl is
without a doubt one of the smartest and
funniest persons I've ever met.
Men, beware... Mariko will school you
on how to rule this world; class is
about to go in session! And if you're
the lucky guy waiting for her to come
home from one of her journeys; don't go
ape shit over minor domestic problems.
Once she puts on one of her sexy
dresses, you'll remember again why you
were jonesin for her in the first
place.
Thanks for helping me to extend
my vocabulary (couldn't have
written this without you) and
introducing me to my love for life,
Amaretto Sour. ISH won't be the same
without you. I'll look forward to your
drunk dials, singing Sesame Street in
Dutch together.
