About Me:
I have two 2 kids (11 and 8). I helped take a company
public about 7 years ago I am involved with some high tech
companies and venture capital firms as an advisor,
investor and board member. This has been really fun as
long as I stay pretty active in the events shaping the
company if not it gets pretty boring quickly and you learn
no matter how close you work at one, you often times do
not know what is going on as much as you think. I have a
couple fun ones I am working on now. I grew up in
Southern California (I come down there ever few months) ,
near the beach (great place for a kid), but have lived in
Washington DC, Boston, Portland (Oregon). This past year
I am grew some fun stuff in my garden: Pumpkins, pears,
apples, peaches, lettuces, peppers, tomato's, beans,
eggplant, strawberries, raspberries, cucumbers, basil, and
other stuff. This year I planted fewer things, but trying
to make it more harvestable.
I have a bit of a wine habit, having accumulated some over
the years. Do you like wine? Have any favorites?
Right now Ben and jerry chocolate Fudge Brownie or New
York Fudge Chunk are my favorite ice creams.
If I could steal a painting, it would be a large format
photograph of one of Ansel Adams pictures that I lusted
after during high school, either Clearing Winter storm or
Moonrise over Hernandez. I have one of them now, but the
large format ones are hard to come by.
