exciting adventures of Carrie, as she
fends off hordes of psycho-bitches in
McDonald's drive-thrus, would be a big
hit. Carrie is like an artist whose
medium is life itself. She's
simultaneously perceptive, thoughtful,
and gnarly. Her only major flaw is
that she hasn't moved to Canada yet,
but that's forgivable. I can only hope
some day our paths will cross
somewhere more spatially conducive to
a high-five or something. In time,
perhaps.
Park is her favorite band. But I
still like her anyway....
literature, interesting and varied
tastes in music, AND can usually hold
up her end of a mean intellectual
conversation. That is pretty much the
recipe for one cool person. She
doesn't know it yet, but in reality I'm
just using her to get at her boyfriend,
and plus there is that whole "she sent
ninjas to kill me" incident that makes
me wary of her; but she's still as cool
as a pirate, and that's pretty much as
grade-A as it gets.
seduced by this muse of high-tech
inspiration? You get out of the lift,
and walk up to her door with
apprehension, wondering how you will
perform (because YOU KNOW she will
judge you by it!), she opens the door
to her flat, and flashes that beautiful
winsome smile with just a HINT of
mischieviousness, and THEN as you are
psyching your courage up to just be
able to engage in some pleasant small-
time chit chat, in her VIXENish styling
she states with aplumb, "I HOPE your
JOYSTICK can keep up with me!" All you
do is sheepishly smile as she grabs
your arm, and whisks you away, to where
you both jump with excitement into her
den of cyber-iniquity! "Oh my GOD!",
you say to yourself. You can't believe
you're with Carrie to share this
moment! Then you gaze into each
other's eyes with longing....and
desire... and then.. with a smile, she
ceremoniously lifts up the DIABLO II
and EVERQUEST discs, and places them in
her CASE LOGIC Game Archive... and then
with excitement you both rip the
cellophane packaging off of STAR WARS
GALAXIES!!! (I've got goose bumps
thinking about that....)
She don't mess around! Skilled at
videogames and nice towards.....well
I'm still waiting on that. I kid of
course. Girlz rule!
now online, and while she's prone to
put the hurt on CS smacktards, she's
one of the more chilled out people
I've met (and has to be to deal with
the crowd of jokers that make up our
online posse). She likes ninjas, can
install movable type, and hates small,
yapping dogs, so she's cool in my
book. She even listened when I sent
her Bela Fleck's seven-variation banjo
adaptation of "God Save the Queen."
Three thumbs up.
hands off! - she's got a terrific
boyfriend, my home-slice Matt. Boy do
i like, Matt. He is quite the scholar
and sexy boy. The way he moves those
hips, he ... uh, wait a sec. This is
about Carrie. Oh yeah. She's the
best. Never change. And she'll rock
yo' ass in CS. What?!
