a bunch of years ago, at the philadelphia premiere of amelie, I won a free soundtrack. my friend sara also got up and sang a song by a french pop star. that was a great movie.

lately: decemberists, fiery furnaces, pernice brothers, ted leo, beulah, m. ward, camera obscura, devendra, spoon, sufjan; old and not that old favorites: white stripes, blur, b&s, counting crows, travis, coldplay before they wanted to be the next U2, paul simon, beatles, dylan, etc.
