is in fact my twin. We have not yet
determined which of us is the Dark-Kirk-
styled evil twin, but hopefully the
next few years will tell the tale.
Despite her questionable choice of
ironic postmodern authors (Christ, she
probably likes Leyner novels) she is,
well, nifty.
I see your pathways, and raise you one

long and there are so many canoe trips
and car trips and dinners in our past
together! Midnight trips to the
campground bathroom through skunk
infested fields. All I can tell you
after all this time is that I still
look up to her more than ever. Oh, and
she always had the coolest friends in
high school. You, know, the ones who
wore combat boots and knew how to fence
or ride bmx bikes.
Girl. . . the black sheep, known for
crackin down on evil doers (especially
grumpy types) with the power of highly
contagious pink eye. Her name is short
for Mei-really-have-to-kick-your-ass-
Ling. Don't mess with this super
freak. Fo sho.
have mad smarts and are all punk and actually
making it happen around them you want to
keep them around to push toothpicks in your
arm to get you going and to remind you that
smoking is dumb and so you can ask
questions like, 'so if it hurts when my friend
pees it's bad?' well that's this special girl. i'm
glad i know her but she probably regrets
meeting me sometimes when i get all boosie
and start hyperventilating and talking in front
of her at the same time while smoking and
drinking furiously. hmmm.
She's probably too smart to be hanging
out with us. But the fact that she
does makes her kind of dumb, so it all
works out.
Postal Service show awhile back at
Bottom of the Hill. Ok, all I have to
say is - you know you're cool when you
are carrying IMAX film in your bag. I
was impressed. You rock! Let's go to a
show soon!
girl is her piecrust. so flaky! she
bakes her giggles right in it.
graveyards, terribly polka dotted swim
suits, canoeing trips replete with
smurf campgrounds etc. how anyone our
age can know someone for that long, (i
mean, i thought we were still 19) i am
not sure. but i think it's rad that
we're still the same friends that
played in our underroos discussing all
the important things - like books
(dorks even then), boys and life
paths - except this time it's all
about maturity and iridescent
effulgence (or as she puts it, my
sparkly gaudiness - which she has
contributed to i might add) and F-U-N
