I heard a story about a man who had been experiencing financial problems. When the person thought of the desire to make his life better, he worked hard to earn more money. He had a dream of living somewhere in the United States expecting that he will have a prosperous life there. After earning enough money he decided to go to America by ship. He bought ticket to enter to the ship with the other passengers. He thought "what am I going to eat for the travel will last for about two weeks?". So he decided to buy cheese and crackers for himself.


When he was on the ship and on its way to America, every time other passengers will go to the dining table and eat, he will sit down in the corner and eat his cheese and crackers. He wished that he could also eat with the other passengers enjoying there meal in the dining table. But he thought "How can I afford it? It's too much expensive! This is the only money that I've got! Poor me!"


He did eating his cheese and crackers for how many days feeling sorry for himself. A fellow passenger finally noticed him. He said "Sir I can't help to see you eating your cheese and crackers while us enjoying those foods served in the dining table." The man replied "But I have no enough money to eat with you there in dining table. I could only desire." The fellow passenger replied "Sir! Don't you know that those foods in the dining table are already paid for by your ticket!"


A lot of people are thinking of themselves as mediocre. They think that they can live life in an average way eating cheese and crackers. Many of us say "All my life, I'm gonna stay like this. Being poor and average and could stay close to my job just enough to feed me and my family. This is my only lot in life!"


Let us remember that we are all sons and daughters of God! He made us in His own image and likeness. Since we are all sons and daughters of God, who is the Most High and the King of all Kings, we are all destined to live the best! Just imagine that you're a father already, and you prepared everything in the dining table with good and delicious foods for your children. When you called them to eat with you and sit with you, what they did is that: they did not eat with you! Instead they sat on the ground waiting for some left over to fall out of the table! Isn't it an insult to you! That you're the father?


It is an insult to God when we only live life not to the fullest! When we only live in an average level! Or when we live a mediocre life! God is a progressive God and He wants to promote us everywhere we go! He made the universe, the king of all kings, the lord of all lords, and the most High God! And we are all his sons and daughters!


We all should expect to be blessed! More blessings to come! We have all the talents and specialties for we are created by God in His own image and likeness!


We should be positive all the time! Expecting God's goodness!
