hard my skirt fell off! I'm just glad
no one noticed! Or did they?...
About a year and a half ago,
At the nasty old Overflow,
With a crowd that liked to scream "Yo!"
And a band that didn't blow...
That band was the Giant Judys.
realized that i spelled a word wrong.
damn...i'm their #1 fan. i've been to
more of their shows than they have.
awesome!! truly it was the soundtrack
of my life in 2003...i can't wait for
the follow-up.
with Johnny Cash...Too bad he was
scratched off the band list.
judys... the judys and i don't go way
back or anything, but we do have
some fun times - nutella
introductions, basement jam fights,
they even played my birthday party
last year [and yes, it was baddass].
on personal notes, j lent me a dollar
2 weeks ago to get into jacobs, even
though i missed their show. i have a
dollar now, if you want it. r is the
quiet guy but he did let me use his
keyboard for the one hit wonders
show, which is awefully nice. and
last but not least, b is the one i know
best, since we used to share a
house and all. we like each other
and piss each other off. i still think
he's swell, even though our
conversations are a little shorter
these days. if i have anouther party
this year, you can bet your ass i'll ask
these guys to play again - they're
really good, so go see them, k? k.
