I've been friends with this little pecker for 19 years and can honestly say that I talk to him as often as I do my own sister - which is about twice a year - so I can say without hesitation he's the closest thing to a brother I'll ever have. He's a 'wild child' (I think he's got some "southern redneck" somewhere in the family roots), a drummer, a graffiti "arteest", a good daddy, a business man, a little freak in the boudoir, lucky in love (don't ever mess that good thing up boy - you'll never find another Henriette), and a guy who'll give you the shirt off his back. It's easy to overlook his negative attributes (mostly because he's not much taller than 'Tattoo' from Fantasy Island) and take him for the genuine, lovable, rotten-toe, can't-hold-his-liquor kinda guy that he truly is - a real Renaissance man. Love ya.
'eyo. don't know you, but it looks like i might,
soon. next time scott crashes at your place
maybe i will, too. that way, we can go
streaking. pop in the sisquo cd, perhaps?
(name that allusion...) -- so you seem like a
cool kid. i like da pix, except for the one with
the blond hair. that one kind of frightens me.
much respect. - legz. of L.E.S. -
best skateshop owner ever!
didn't open it to be cool, didn't open it
because he dosen't know anything else,
didn't open it to be a capitalist pig.
i wish i could have afforded to buy somethig
there while it was still open.
did i mention he likes the Yankees?
need i say more.
What can I say about this crazy motherfucker
that hasn't already been said. This guy has
helped out everyone in at least some small
way. A geniune dude, his shop
singlehandedly brought back the
skateboarding scene in NY... and for that I
am thankful, much love.
Holding down the Skate scene for the
LES. Always trying to help out when he
can. He use to drive everyone to
skateparks during the winter WITHOUT
CHARGING. That should tell you a lot
about this guy.
A.Lo is my man. owner of the sickest
shop in tha city. and if you ever go
in back, watch out for the cutest dogs
ever, they're soo rad. adrian i love
