Testimonials and Comments for Mark
totally be judas. a ROCK judas.
to follow me around and sing all the time --
he's taken me up on it. So to speak.
actor/model for this portrait project
i've been working on. anybody that's
been in new york for several years and
still makes time for random art
projects... well... that's good people
in my book. oh, and you should check
out neon thrills. they are fun. and
loud.
and in all that time he has never
wavered from being the smart, funny,
irreverent, and extremely talented guy
I knew when we were just pups. He's a
solid citizen of planet earth and there
is much fun to be had in his orbit!
talented. That voice! I knew him way
back, before the soap opera star glossy
head shots. Even in high school,
though, his performances made the young
teachers swoon. Some things never
change!
of the ice cream truck? He'd been talking
about dosing the soft-serve with hash, which
I guess illustrates Mark's irreverent sense of
humor and healthy appreciation for drugs.
Mark kicks ass at dominoes. Also,
redundantly, god damn but does this man
have a sexy voice. I've told him he should
sing for me all the time -- like, follow me
around and sing -- but he has yet to take me
up on that. Oh, and he's part of the nicest
rock band in NYC -- the kind that sends
thank-you emails after shows. Sigh.
compassionate, trust-worthy,
complex, fun, an original, a great
laugh, a good friend.
knees. have you heard this boy sing?
sweet jesus, it's like molten lava. aa,
not pahoehoe. i learned those two types
of lava from levar burton on reading
rainbow 20 years ago, but they're still
stuck in my brain, just like mark. he's
a star. Jesus Christ, Superstar! that's
what you'll say after you see him strut
his stuff.
