Bonanza!
He is whip smart! I knew his
grandpappy, Errol Flynn, when we were
just knee high. We collected penny
cards together after he invented them.
He gave me a whole set! Melon has a
family of smart bugs. I used to babysit
his father, Sugar Ray Leonard, while
Erroll would be out doing whatever he
did. Those were mighty fine times.
Mighty fine.
Good. Well I was there that day and I am here to
explain EVERYTHING! Yah see Melon is flying down
this plexi-glass encased slide at a children's
museum, but he cropped it, I think to avoid any
further suspicions. He was so excited to go down
the slide, in fact he kicked a few kids out of the way
on the way to the slide. It was all like slow motion
and stuff as Melon ran to the slide, elbows
thrashing lifting the kiddies off their little stunned-
sneakered feet sending them flying in mid-air as
their overbearing stage-mom parents gapped in
horror. Now maybe you are asking yourself by
now, why was Melon at a children's museum? well,
you see it was "Mr. Smarty-pants" day at the "Magic
house" and Melon was invited to give the key note
address. You should have seen the place! It was
decorated with streamers, all of the kids were
drinking apple juice- pinkies raised...it was
well...Magical! It's just too bad, that the day had to
end in the way that it did.
have been duped by Melon. I can't begin
to count the number of times he has
tricked me into giving him my juice box
or snack pack. Just the other day I was
walking past him on the street and he
said, "I hope you're not planing on
CONSUMING the contents of that juice
box!" Now, at the time I didn't know
what the word consume meant, so I just
said, "No way, not me!" To which he
replied, "Then I guess you wouldn't
mind if I CONSUMED it..." I didn't know
how to answer, so I just said," No, I
guess not." So he took the juice box
and drank the whole thing right in
front of me, laughing the whole time!
The guy is a genius and not afraid to
use his smarts to get what he wants.
I'm also impressed by the way he laughs
and drinks at the same time.
