      • My diva in dance and life. I love my
        Sarah now and for always:

Eating salads (with mango and feta)
while sitting on her kitchen floor laughing
        our asses off = $7

Carpooling to highschool in the morning
waiting for "you know who" to hurry the
f**k up or else we are going to be late!
        =$12

Seeing one of your oldest and dearest
friends, who you haven't got to talk to as
much as you wish you could in the last
couple of years, Dancing at your
wedding and knowing that she would
have walked through fire to be there...
        Priceless.

        Love you SarahBear.

      • This girl plays a mean game of dirty
word scrabble. I'm hoping to have her
over for wine and cheese and knitting
and my so-called life parties so I can
get to know her better because she
        seems quite lovely.

      • Oh Sarah. It has been so long. Lost
are the days in the library at our
small little cubby of a desk, sipping
        tea, reading frantically, freaking out
about all the crap we had to do and
would never get done. Oh those were
the days. Don't you miss them?

generosity, with her time, her possessions, and her
compliments. Despite her self-effacing attitude she
must be supremely confident in who she is to give
so much. Sarah was involved in some political strife
back in that hazy period at Reed College, and I was
impressed with the dignity with which she handled
both herself and her opponents, a true mark of
courage. She truly cares about those around her.
Really, though, I prefer making fun of people in
their testimonials. Who even reads these damned
things anyway? Anyway, everything I said before,
should make the reader scared. Why? She's gona
snap. Who could keep being nice up this long?
Maybe she's not human. Maybe she's a pod person.
Ok, so my accusations of pod person-ness haven't
gone so well in the past (especially since the only
way to tell a pod person is dissection); but, as a
new employee in the department of homeland
security's history wing, I think something fishy is
        going on here.

      • Sarah is a beautiful, intelligent woman who is
my friend, I appreciate her caring more than
she can ever know... even though I love to
mess with her, she is an important person to
me... get to know her, it is worth it

      • sarafina and i drive to oakland
        chinatown (whenever we are actually
home together) to buy coconut or mango
or mocha bobas to keep us sane in this
crazy world. i have known this girl
for almost half our lives, and other
than some mudslinging in 8th grade,
we've been as tight as talib kweli &
mos def, partners in crime spitting
        knowledge in classrooms and conspiring
an overhaul of the education system.
when we have children, we will dance
with them into the night and read them
books by robin d.g. kelly before they
go to bed. watch out for this woman--
if you're lucky, she'll turn you
inside out and engage the intricacies
of your being over a cup of coffee.
