birthright israel is a unique partnership between the people of Israel through their government, local Jewish communities (North American Jewish Federations through the United Jewish Communities, Keren Hayesod and The Jewish Agency for Israel), and leading Jewish philanthropists. birthright israel provides the gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26.
birthright israel's founders created this initial five year project to send thousands of young Jewish adults from all over the world to Israel as a gift in order to diminish the growing division between Israel and Jewish communities around the world; to strengthen the sense of solidarity between Israeli youth and Jewish communities around the world; to increase the number of return visits to Israel; and to promote the role of Israel as a powerful resource in Jewish learning.

Some of the best days of my life...I'll
never forget Bus 57 and our fantastic
journey through the holy land. UNLV &
SUNY Buffalo forever...
--Birthright is/was FANTASTIC. Met a
wonderful girl, (it didn't work
out...presently looking for a
replacement) got to see MY land/their
country, and Yerushalaim.....what else
can I say? (add a temple...& it would be
Perfect!)
The only thing I have found that comes
close to the actual trip is the
BIRTHRIGHT ISRAEL ALLUMNI
ASSOCIATION in LOS ANGELES!!!!
Well Birthright....THANK YOU.
I can't wait to go back to Israel....even if
I will have to pay for it myself this time!

my life! :) Haven't been back since...but

trip. So amazing I am going to stay
here for 6 plus months on a kibbutz and
i want to ulpan it up after that.
