About Me:
I work in politics and like to think I'm making the world a better place. I worked for several years for a progressive state legislator, and am currently working for a statewide organization that advocates for public schools and fiscal equity in school funding. I also have a very un-serious, silly side and love to just have fun. In the Spring/Summer/Fall this usually means doing anything outdoors from bike trips to PS1 Warm-Up. I also love to see live music, visit museums, good movies (no Hollywood crap-ola) and good books. I am trying to learn how to play the accordion just for fun, and am trying to remember how to speak French. Currently reading "How the Mind Works" (Psych major in college) and am endlessly fascinated by various scientific topics, especially neuroscience. I am wonderfully complex but not overbearing. Very comfortable with my sexuality and extremely selective about who I share myself with. I am really a nerdy good girl with a naughty side.

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone to play and run around town with or to talk and debate politics with. Also, anyone who can help me learn espanol or practice my francais, or play my accordion. Running partners...I'm training for the 5K :) Adventure partners.

Testimonials and Comments for April
is gazing happily at a hydrofoil race,
she's actually just showing some of that
sly grace and charm that comes so
naturally to her. I like April. She
believes in her work, she makes a
difference in the world, and she's
earthy, funny, and full of deep feeling.
Did I mention that she's hot in that
Maine farm girl kind of way? Picture
kind of shows that, but mostly she
doesn't really know how very pretty she
is. That's also a nice thing about her.
Anyway, she's good people. So be
nice to her or I'll break your legs. And
I'm just the dorky kind of kung fu artist
that can do it.
interssante, tres amusante, et tres
sexy (avec un accent francais). Avril
et moi devons practicer le francais
parce que nous avons oublie (avecun
accent sur le "e") comment parler le
francais. Pas mal! Qu'est-ce qu'on
peut faire? C'est domage. Salut
petit canard. Salut mon petit chou.
C'est tout jusqu'a l'heure et jusqu'a
Avril fait les chansons a un chien
vert avec un petit oiseau sur son
nez. Au revoir.
fire alarm story. it is one of the best
stories i have and april is certainly
one of the best naked girls ever. (she
is also lovely in clothes if you insist
on seeing her in public....) April will
sweetly and softly tell you her own
stories which will blow you out of the
water. she's done and will do, amazing,
ridiculous and admirable things. rock
on chica!
all night until we piled into my car
and had, what I must say, is the best
possible time a person could have at
TGIF's. Wow- what a woman.
even met. So when I met her, finally, I knew
she'd be with a group of my friends, and yet,
there she was and I didn't get it... I totally
missed that that was APRIL until I walked
away to go get the beer. Then it dawned on
me, and I was like "Oh my god, she was so
mellow and cool that she just let me have
that totally spaced out moment".... When I
got back and said "Are you April?" we both
laughed. And then we didn't stop talking--
there was just so much to catch up on!
en williamsburg, did i mention i
considered living there my own self a
couple times? anyway, astoria
forgives you, dont you astoria? dont
you? yes you do? "meow", good
astoria!, and, im with you, ps1 does
rock, but ive yet to wander round the
graffiti park near by, really should,
looks awesome from the 7 train (that
i hardly ever take, smirk), and youre
right, we really shouldnt let dat

nicest of crazy ways). Just when I
think I have her figured out, she
surprises me. Smart, fearless, silly
(ridiculous), and bold. If you ever
feel like protesting anything, she's
your woman. You should also call her if
you need help kicking some metaphorical
ass. 1 of my favorite April quotes
is, "Your ass is grass and I'm the lawn
mower." People just don't say shit
like that any more.
