Occupation:
Owner, PhilippineScript Designs

About Me:
Welcome to the Friendster page for PhilippineScript Designs, www.philippinescript.com, an on-line store dedicated to the preservation of pre-Hispanic Philippine culture by featuring baybayin on custom-made and completed jewelry.
Since learning about baybayin I have become passionate about sharing the knowledge of its beauty and significance.
The result is PhilippineScript Designs.
What is baybayin ?
It is the ancient script of our Filipino ancestors, thought to be used as early as 900 AD.
I translate names and/or Tagalog words to baybayin and it is these symbols I burn by hand into Philippine wood beads and pendants, making all my pieces one-of-a-kind.
When you visit www.philippinescript.com, you will find ready-made baybayin jewelry but the feature I'm most excited about is being able to create a piece just for you. Show your love for the Philippines while you wear an affordable necklace or bracelet that expresses who you are and/or shows your, or a loved one's, name in baybayin.
Together, we'll make something wonderful...and I thank you for letting me be part of our mutual celebration of the Philippine culture.
