love this woman as if she were of my
own flesh, and I dare say she is one
of the only people I know for whom I'd
really take a bullet (or, less
dramatically, fly 4 hours in a
snowstorm to surprise for her
birthday). Ru has been my sensi, my
mentor, my editor, my crush, my best
friend, and my muse for close to 5
years now, and she continues to teach
me as we evolve into our adult lives
on different but parallel paths.
Learn from this woman! She is the
future! (And NB: despite the shaved
head pic, this chick has some FABULOUS
hair that would make Vidal Sassoon
himself cry!)
