關於我:
I don't eat cheese. I do eat bugs. I like peeling glue off of my fingers. I like cleaning things that are really dirty. I like natural disasters. I dislike the burst of cold water that comes out of the shower when you first turn it on. I frequently lose things. I frequently find things. I'm scared that there is a monster in the toilet that will bite my butt when I sit down. I am loved by crazy people on public transportation everywhere.

A biographical update for all my friends:
October '06
I just got home volunteering as a nurse for a year in Timor Leste. I've had a lot of crazy experiences this year--some good, some scary, and some sad. Right now I'm trying to readjust to life in the US. I'm moving to Seattle to get a paying job. It's nice being home--I like the food and hot water--but I'm having a little trouble getting used to things here.
I hope that I'll get a chance to catch up with many of you sometime soon.
Take care,
Mary

tall order. mary is one of the best
friends a girl could have. she makes
rockin popcorn and is a firm proponent
of eggs and toast as being the best
hangover remedy. she drinks tea by the
gallon but still calls it 'going out for
coffee.' she plans and worries
obsessively but has no qualms about not
following a single one of her plans in
the slightest. she's adventurous and
gallivants around the world at the drop
of a hat and makes friends with
everyone. she's one of those people i
can not see for years (yes, plural) and
talk to only a few times and yet, the
moment she shows up, its like we haven't
spent a moment apart. mary has zany
adventures and tells a great story, ask
her about the time she nearly decked a
guy in a bar.
