GABRIELA Network is a Philippine-US women's solidarity organization. GABNet provides the means by which Filipinas in the US can empower themselves, functions as training ground for women's leadership, and articulates the women's point of view. AnakBAYAN Seattle is a collective of Filipino and Filipino Amerikan youth and students who are
concerned about the global oppression of our people. We hope to improve our conditions by studying and educating others about the rich culture and proud revolutionary heritage of the Filipino peoples continuing struggle. We also work towards building anti-imperialist unity among all people to expose and oppose U.S. imperialist intervention in the Philippines. www.anakbayan.org

always had this innocent look but when
she had taken me out in Seattle.. she
could be this Party Girl! But still
knows what she wants in life.. I envy

on 8th for two years. All the guys

She's sweet and considerate. I'm glad
that we got to be friends. I'm glad

(among other things) and can hang with

since i was like a freshman in
highschool. she's had my back with
school and friends.she always kept me
going towards the positive things in
crazy situations. she's a great person
to talk to! haha and i love seein' her

Denina. I'm sure for those of you
that know her, I don't need to tell
you what a great person she is... but
I will anyway. I first met my Ate
Donna when I was a freshmen at UW. Me
and my other friend decided to take an
upper level class and we ended up
being the two youngest kids in the
class and we happened to be sitting
next to the most sophisticated girl on
the freakin' campus. Everyone we knew
would totally salivate when her name
was mentioned, "Donnnaaa". Not only
is this girl beautiful beyond words
with or without makeup, but she has a
heart of an angel. In a lot of ways,
this girl is my guardian angel. She
has played such an important role in
my life and I don't know what I would
do without her. No matter how far
apart we are, we will always share
this special connection. Although
sometimes that connection is FREAKIN
EERIE... I love you Ate Donna---
