We had a near-death experience together when we were teenagers. Afterwards, I had a beer and he went to church. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
took me to my first bar at age 14 and
encouraged my bowling skills as a beginner no
matter how poorly I rolled. Always has been a
great listener and kind soul with remarkable
philosphical insight. A lover of Greeks and a
wannabe baller but don't get him started on the
plight of the Irish Catholic, although I agree with
his sentiments whole heartedly. Erin Go Bragh!
I will always treasure Colin's friendship and look
forward to our bi-annual catch-ups! Most
amusing Colin moment: Colin trying to get me to
remember konda y makria with Lee as he runs
"near and far" like a Sesame Street muppet.
